Sales Executive – STG
Based in Rackheath near Norwich, Seaglaze Group are a forward thinking and progressive company that has been established for nearly half a century. We employ 50 staff across our 2 factories, manufacturing high quality, bespoke products ranging from specialised glass to products for the boat building industry.
We are looking to recruit a full time, Sales Coordinator for our specialised glass plant that provides a wide range of toughened, laminated and printed glass products for commercial use. You will be one of the first points of contact for customers, both via the telephone and face to face, to understand their initial thoughts and designs and helping them decide on the best solution for their needs. You will be working in a busy environment with others and should be able to manage your own workload and work towards deadlines and set targets. Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to interpret technical information after training is a must. You will also need to have good IT Skills, we have our own bespoke software that will be used on a day-to-day basis.
The ideal candidate would be a fast–learner, able to multi-task, have an excellent telephone manner, and holds a keen interest in sales as your main focus is to promote our products to both new and existing customers. This is a great ‘steppingstone’ opportunity for those just starting out in sales but who holds some experience from a previous sales role and there are opportunities to further your career within the Group for those who have a ‘can do’ and positive attitude.
Whilst the role is mainly office based you will be expected to attend trade and retail shows around the UK, Germany and Amsterdam. This may also include sales visits to Customers. This role is office based; hours are usually 45 per week Monday to Friday although flexibility will be required for trade and retail shows as required.
